| The car-ferry to Rathlin is run by Caledonian MacBrayne and leaves
Ballycastle on the North Antrim coast several times a day . The crossing takes
about 45 minutes . Vehicles are taken by special permit only, except for
disabled drivers (see below)*. For travel - there are regular tours of the island by minibus, as well as bicycle hire .
