Welcome to Soerneog View Hostel

Rathlin is an island with breathtaking scenery, wildlife, many species of birds, and some rare types of flora . We have three lighthouses, but we still managed to have an unrivalled collection of historical shipwrecks around the coast. Seals can generally be seen basking on the rocks . Famous personalities have stopped on our shores, including Robert the Bruce, Marconi and Richard Branson

Soerneog View Hostel, Rathlin Island, overlooks Mill Bay with good views of grey and common seals . Soerneog, the Gaelic word for "kiln", is the name of an area within the bay .
