This hostel is situated in the very heart of the Castle Archdale Country Park in a building dating back to 1773 . Part of the complex houses a Wildlife Exihibition, a museum and a lecture theatre and field study laboratory .
It has two large dormitories and two family rooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, TV room and a reading room . Shower facilities are also available . A full range of outdoor activities are available at the park . It is not open all year round .
