It has been reported that this park is closed . I have been unable to confirm this at the moment . This park is a family run business and the personal touch shows throughout . On site facilities include free showers, a full wheelchair suite, baby/toddler washroom, toddler playroom, campers kitchen and dining facilities, centrally heated emergency sleeping shelter and full laundry facilities .
It is a fifteen minute walk from Sligo city centre but is still a peaceful site, and within a few miles is a beautiful blue flag beach . Over the hills from the beach is one of Ireland's top golf courses .
There are a total of 50 sites on this three acre site . Each site has water, electric and cable TV connections as well as a waste water pipe . It is open all year round . It is located on the main Sligo to Belfast road (N16) and is just before the traffic lights if you are heading from the Belfast direction . From Sligo you pass the hospital and go straight through the lights, with the park entrance approximately 50 metres on the left after the junction .
