This is a National Trust property . It is located 13 km miles south-west of Enniskillen via A4 and A32 . It is one of Ulster's most important 18th century houses, built by the Earls of Enniskillen . It is famous for it's fine rococo plasterwork and many original pieces of furniture, paintings and artifacts . There is wheelchair access on the ground floor . Electric wheelchair available, sympathetic hearing scheme in operation.
Florence Court is well known to gardeners as the home of the Irish Yew, Taxus baccata ' Fastigiata', which is now a feature of gardens throughout the world . The original tree, discovered in about 1760, can still be seen on the fringe of Cottage Wood to the south-east of the great eighteenth-century house .
Estate open daily from 10am. Parking charge.
House open 1 - 6pm, 28 March - 1 April : daily; April - Sept : Sat -Sun ; May - Aug: daily (ex Tues). There is an entrance charge
