Mahee Island, Comber, Co. Down
The remains of this important pre-Norman monastery on an island in Strangford Lough include three concentric enclosures (stone walls), with ruined church, round tower stump and cross-slabs .
Museum open April - September : Tuesday - Saturday, 10am - 6pm plus Sunday afternoons, 2 - 6pm.
Oct - March : Sat, 10am - 4pm and Sun 2 - 4pm .
