One leads to a folly-tower on a hill behind . The yards to the side of the house have been converted into a series of small walled gardens linked by a walk lined with Irish junipers . One of the gardens is a herb garden designed around a scented camomile lawn . Another is a perennial garden with a shell-lined grotto and a weeping ash (a traditional feature of Irish gardens) as a focal point . The outbuildings house an extensive costume collection . Open 2 - 6pm July - Aug daily except Thurs ; April, May, June and Sept : Sat - Sun, 2 - 6pm Entrance charge |
