This award winning Museum is located in the town's 17th century Market House . The exhibition 'Flax to Fabric' tells the story of linen production from Egyptian times to the great success story of had woven Irish linen . Visitors can watch damask linen being prepared in the traditional way from design to weaving in the hand loom weaving workshop . There is a Tourist Information Centre, Cafe, Crommelin and a speciality linen and crafts shop .
Wheelchair access is available throughout the Museum . Disabled toilet and baby changing facilities are available .
Open : Mon - Sat, 9.30am - 5.00pm
