This site is located in the Gosford Country Park in a forest of some very old broad-leaved and coniferous trees . Gosford Castle is close to the caravan park, and is a rare architectural style Norman revival, this building is not open to the public . In the forest grounds are deer enclosures, poultry, ornamental pigeons, nature trails, barbecue areas and a cafe .
This site can accommodate 34 touring vans and 36 tents . It is not open all year round, groups of six or more can use the park during the low season .
My opinion: If you are interested in the outdoors or a peaceful relaxing holiday then this is the site for you . My thanks to the Forest Service for supplying the photographs .
