This hostel overlooks the Mill Bay where the ferry comes in . It was built in 1998 and is finished to a high standard . On the island there are very few cars, leaving it peaceful and safe to walk and enjoy yourselves . There is an R.S.P.B. nature reserve on the island, seal colonies and some wildflower specialities like Heath-Spotted Orchids .
The hostel can accommodate six people in 3 rooms, has full self catering facilities and is centrally heated . Bikes are available for hire and walking guided tours can be arranged . Luggage can be collected from the ferry by prior arrangement, it is essential to book ferry crossings and the hostel in advance . The hostel is open from April to September .
